Bratton Clovelly is a lovely village in the middle of Devon and because of the location, overlooking North-West Dartmoor, there is a great deal of countryside to explore.

Walking
For Walkers ~ Packhorse Trail
A Circular walk that beginning at the Clovelly Inn, Bratton Clovelly
The trail passes through the village, down a quiet lane and along a bridleway returning to the village.
A distance of 2miles it takes 45min to an hour to walk

For Walkers ~ Walks on Dartmoor
Various Circular Walks as suggested by 'Visit Dartmoor' these are of mixed length, covering locations near to Bratton Clovelly.
North Dartmoor & West Dartmoor

Cycle Routes
For Cyclists ~ Cycle Route 1
Starting at Bratton Clovelly a 15.5km (9.7 ml) Circular Route on quiet and very quiet roads.
There are some short ups and down hills but nothing too challenging.
The Route takes you through open countryside and local hamlets

For Cyclists ~ Cycle Route 2
Starting at Bratton Clovelly a 20km (12.4 ml) Circular Route on quiet and very quiet roads, plus a short section of off-road if desired.
This Route is classed as moderate as there is nothing too challenging.
The Route takes you through open countryside.
